Loom Technician
Salary: £35,000 Location: Openshaw

Week 1: Work 2 days
Week 2: Work 3 days
12-hour shifts
Our Client is looking for a loom technician to join their production team during a period of planned and expansive growth in our business.
-Most of the woven products are safety critical so an emphasis on quality is paramount.
-An understanding of weave structures and narrow fabric loom mechanics is preferable although the skill sets from wide fabric weaving would be readily transferable.
-This key role will enhance the team ethos and they look forward to receiving applications from both experienced and interested candidates as full training would be provided.
Job specification is as below:
Operation & Maintenance of Narrow Fabric Looms - prepare and set up machines and ensure efficient and quality production of woven product.
Troubleshoot & Repair - Identify and fix weaving faults, conduct routine inspections, and maintain looms with preventative maintenance programs.
Ensure Safety - Maintain safety features, controls and PPE compliance.
Document & Report - Keep accurate records of repairs, adjustments and maintenance.
Quality Control - Verify woven product against specification and maintain the highest possible quality standards.
