Quality Control Operators
Salary: £12.21 Location: Tameside Hours: 6am - 2.00.pm (Monday - Friday)

Hours: Rotating 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm
Contract: Temporary – Long Term (with strong potential to go permanent)
What you’ll be doing:
We’re looking for a sharp-eyed Quality Control Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Tameside. You’ll be inspecting products as they come off the machines, making sure everything is spot-on and meets the company’s quality standards.
If you’ve got good attention to detail, a bit of confidence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without missing a thing — this one’s for you.
Key Responsibilities
Inspecting products coming off production lines
Checking measurements, finishes, and overall product quality
Identifying and reporting any defects instantly
Recording findings accurately
Ensuring products meet customer and internal specifications
Supporting production teams with feedback and fix requests
Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe
Following company quality processes and safety guidelines
What we’re looking for:
Experience in quality control or production (ideal but not essential)
Excellent attention to detail — spotting issues before anyone else does
Ability to work rotating shifts (6–2 and 2–10)
Reliable, switched on, and able to work independently
Good communication skills
Someone who takes pride in “getting it right first time”
