Production Supervisor – Rotating Shifts
Salary: DAE Location: Tameside Hours: 6am - 2.00.pm (Monday - Friday)

Contract: Temporary – Long Term (with strong potential to go permanent)
What you’ll be doing:
We’re recruiting a hands-on, organised Production Supervisor to lead a busy manufacturing team in Tameside. You’ll be overseeing machine operators and quality staff, ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with leadership experience in manufacturing who can keep people motivated, maintain standards, and stay cool under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and supporting a team of machine operators and quality staff
Allocating daily tasks and monitoring workflow
Ensuring production targets and KPIs are met across both rotating shifts
Overseeing product quality and escalating any issues
Conducting basic troubleshooting and coordinating maintenance where needed
Completing shift reports, quality records, and incident documentation
Training new starters and supporting team development
Ensuring full compliance with health & safety and company procedures
Acting as the first point of contact for shift issues and queries
Driving efficiency, quality, and safety improvements
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Senior Operator in manufacturing
Strong communication and people management skills
Confident decision-maker who can solve problems on the spot
Ability to work rotating shifts (6–2 and 2–10)
Good understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety compliance
Reliable, organised, and able to maintain high standards under pressure
