Food Production Operators
Location: Tameside Hours: 12 hours, 4 on 4 off
What you’ll be doing:
We are recruiting experienced Food Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing site in Tameside. This is a fast-paced environment, working on high-speed production lines, handling food products, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Working on fast-moving food production lines
Handling and preparing food products safely and correctly
Packing, weighing, and inspecting products
Following strict hygiene, allergen, and food safety procedures
Completing basic quality checks
Maintaining a clean and compliant working area
Supporting the team to meet production targets
Reporting any issues to supervisors or line leaders
Requirements
Must have previous experience in food manufacturing
Food Hygiene Certificate desirable but not essential
Ability to follow detailed hygiene and safety standards
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to 4-on-4-off shifts
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods

Ideal Candidate
Someone who has worked in food production, ready-meal manufacturing, bakery, dairy, meat processing, or any regulated food environment and can quickly adapt to high-volume production lines.
