🔥 JOB ALERT – MIG Welder / Fabricator (Temp to Perm) 🔥Tameside
Pickles Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing environment on a temp-to-permanent basis.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in producing strong, clean welds and working to a high standard every time.
Key Duties:
✅ MIG welding mild steel components
✅ Welding frames, brackets and assemblies from drawings
✅ Setting up welding equipment (wire feed, voltage, gas flow)
✅ Positional welding where required
✅ Inspecting weld quality and carrying out rework if needed
✅ Supporting fabrication tasks – cutting, grinding, tacking, fitting
✅ Working to production schedules while maintaining quality
What We’re Looking For:
⭐ Proven MIG welding experience in manufacturing/fabrication
⭐ Confident working from engineering drawings
⭐ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
⭐ Health & Safety focused
⭐ Able to work independently and as part of a team
