  • Complete pre-start machinery and equipment checks, ensuring all equipment is safe and ready for use.

  • Monitor product quality throughout production, identifying defects and ensuring finished components meet the required standards.

  • Accurately complete production record sheets, including materials used, output, rejects and scrap.

  • Identify and report machinery faults, damaged equipment, production delays and quality concerns to the Vacuum Forming Team Leader.

  • Assist with machine adjustments and changeovers where trained and authorised.

  • Work closely with colleagues and other departments to maintain production targets and minimise downtime.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment, following all health and safety procedures.

  • Experience working with Geiss or Shelley machinery would be highly advantageous.

  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes, machine operation and quality standards.

  • The ability to work efficiently while operating multiple machines.

  • Good attention to detail, particularly when inspecting and trimming finished products.

  • Basic mechanical awareness and the confidence to identify and report machine issues.

  • The ability to complete production paperwork accurately.

  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What's on Offer?

  • Hourly rate of £13.22.

  • Paid breaks.

  • Full training and ongoing support.

  • Opportunity to develop specialist machinery skills within a manufacturing environment.
