Steel Fabricator / Manufacturing Operative
Hours : Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4pm
Rate of pay : £13.50 - £15.00 (Depending on experience)
Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for the assembly and fabrication of high-quality steel doors, ensuring all products are manufactured accurately and to specification.
Duties Include :
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Measuring, marking out and assembling door components.
Operating hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery.
Cutting, shaping and finishing materials to a high standard.
Carrying out mechanical assembly and fabrication work.
Completing quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
Assisting with lifting, moving and loading finished products.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Following all Health & Safety procedures.
The Ideal Candidate :
Previous experience within fabrication, engineering, manufacturing or joinery.
Confident reading engineering or technical drawings.
Experience using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery.
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good timekeeping and a positive attitude.
Physically fit due to the nature of the role.
What's on Offer?
£13.50 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience).
