Pickles Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in Tameside for an experienced VNA Driver to join their busy warehouse team on a long-term temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a valid VNA licence who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in working safely and efficiently.

Duties Include :

  • Operate a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) truck safely and efficiently.

  • Put stock away into high-level racking and retrieve pallets as required.

  • Replenish picking locations.

  • Load and unload goods where required.

  • Carry out stock movements using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.

  • Complete daily equipment safety checks and report any defects.

  • Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to all health and safety procedures.

  • Work towards daily productivity and accuracy targets.

The Ideal Candidate :

  • Valid, externally accredited VNA licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent).

  • Previous experience operating a VNA truck within a warehouse environment.

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

  • Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems would be advantageous but is not essential.

What's on Offer?

  • £13.50 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience).

  • Temporary to Permanent opportunity.

  • Immediate start available.

  • Monday to Friday working.
